Proposed Itinerary

Meet up at prearranged location. Escort to beginning of tour.
Your tour starts on the waterfront at beautiful Canada Place and carrys on around to Jack Poole Plaza, site of the Vancovuer 2010 Olympic cauldron. These waterfront locations allow uninterrupted views across the harbour to the North Shore mountains. See cruise ships berthed at the terminal and watch the float planes land and take off from the shorefront air terminal. Turn around and see the towers of the downtown business district.
A short walk brings us to Harbour Centre where we board the elevator to Vancouver Lookout.  Enjoy a 360 degree view of metro Vancouver and beyond, as far as the eye can see from this 170 m (555 ft) location.
From Harbour Centre, we make our way to one of Vancouver's iconic buildings, the Vancouver Public Library at Library Square.  Completed in 1995, Library Square was the largest capital project ever undertaken by the City of Vancouver.  The glass-roofed atrium serves as a concourse and entry foyer to the library as well as more lively pedestrian activities at ground level.  The building's design, resembling the Roman Colosseum, was the most radical of several but was the public favourite.
The tour continues with a stroll along the south end of Robson Street towards Robson Square, site of the Law Courts (opened in 1980) and the Art Gallery.  Stroll around the square, wander into the striking Law Courts and witness the innovative architecture and urban design of this Arthur Erikson-designed building.

Continuing our walk, we enter the chic part of Robson Street, 3 amazing blocks of premier fashions and celebrated eateries.  Our tour ends here where you can have coffee, lunch or dinner and join in with the great cafe culture of the area.
Your transit day pass remains good through all zones on metro Vancouver's transit system, including Skytrains Expo, Millenium and Canada Lines, as well as all buses. So feel free to continue exploring!
